The town of Javea

Javea is a beautiful town on the Northern Costa Blanca, located midway between Alicante and Valencia. It is located on the eastern most tip of Spain, and is called ”Amanecer de Espana”, (Dawn of Spain), where the sun first rises. It is one of the prettiest areas on the Mediterranean coast. It has a beautiful old town and port area, mature residential areas, and a wonderful and lively beach called ‘El Arenal’. The beach is on the shore of a shell shaped bay, and the water is warm, shallow and clear. The boardwalk is lined by bars, cafes and restaurant, and at night the beach area is a hotspot for having dinner and drinks.

Javea has a wonderful climate, with the highs temperatures in the summer being around 25C (78F), while even in the winter the temperatures typically rise to 15C (60F) or more. The nights are mild with a cool breeze that is very welcome after a long day in the sun. The low humidity ensures that even the hottest days are very pleasant for beachcombers and sightseers.

The World Health Organization has recognized Javea for having one of the best climates in the world. People suffering from asthma and allergies will also find some relief in this healthy, near-perfect climate.

There are many fantastic restaurants in Javea, which allow to enjoy the wonderful Mediterranean cuisine. The options range from tapas by the sea to high end cuisine at Michelin star rated restaurants.

 The Costa Blanca region

The Costa Blanca region is one of the most picturesque areas of the Mediterranean Coast in Spain.
